What's different about this job
Skipping the fall blow-out is the single most expensive $110 anyone saves in this valley. Cracked valves, split laterals and a flooded crawlspace show up at spring start-up, and the repair runs into four figures.
What is included
- Drip and low-volume spray design for short-season planting
- Backflow, master valve and drain-down points
- Fall blow-out before the first hard freeze
- Spring start-up with a freeze-damage inspection
- Smart controller setup you can run from your phone down the hill
Blow-out season
We aim to finish the valley by the end of October. Book in September — the last two weeks before the first hard freeze are always oversubscribed, and a missed blow-out shows up as split laterals and cracked valves at spring start-up.
Design for drain-down
Systems installed by valley-floor crews frequently have no low-point drains, which makes a proper blow-out impossible. If yours cannot be drained, that is worth fixing once rather than paying for freeze repairs every spring.
