Start to finish on site
Water was going the wrong way
The original grade sloped toward the house, not away from it — a slow problem that shows up as foundation issues years later if nobody fixes the actual slope.
Fixed the grade, then added light
Once the water had somewhere to go, the dry creek bed carries it there visibly instead of hiding a pipe underground. Path lighting went in along the new route.
