Scope
- Demo the failing timber wall and haul off
- Engineered block wall with proper drainage backfill
- Regrade behind the wall, compacted in lifts
- Paver patio on the reclaimed level ground

Why the old wall failed
Timber walls on a slope this steep, without real drainage behind them, take on water and lean within a few seasons. In a typical case like this, the wall has started to bow.
The fix
Engineered block, drainage gravel and pipe behind it, backfilled and compacted in lifts — not just dropped in and covered. The reclaimed level ground became the paver patio the property never had room for before.
